You know you're having a NawFuL season when your sights are no longer set on winning a championship, but on merely winning games — something that the Senior Bro has not excelled at in 2017. It has been eight weeks since the four-time defending GBF champ last gained ground in the Surfy standings, so finishing Week 11 without falling further behind qualifies as a great achievement, let alone actually chopping into Sean's massive lead. But it's not an optical illusion; yes, the progress arrow on the weekly stats chart moves from a steady crimson to a rare shade of green.

That would not be Seahawks green, as it was the team's 34-31 defeat to the Falcons on Monday night that enabled Glenn to notch his first winning week since sweeping three splits in Week 3. It capped a weekend that saw the Senior Bro take three of four splits to pull to within *just* 14 games of Sean's dominant record.

In the final bye week before a full schedule resumes for Thanksgiving week, things went the Senior Bro's way early. He got a 24-7 home win from the Vikings over the Rams, followed by Houston's come-from-behind 31-24 home victory over Arizona, guaranteeing him at least a share of the week's best record. But a prediction that the Cowboys would prevail against the top-ranked Eagles on Sunday night was not to be, as the 'Boys were trounced 37-9.

That left Monday to determine the week's outcome. Atlanta, on the road, jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back, although Seattle came within a few inches of sending it to overtime when Blair Walsh's field goal attempt fell just shy of the upright. For Glenn, a rare moral victory in a season that has been filled with bad luck and punishing losses.

Glenn paced the pack at 9-5, while Sean and Ben tied for the week's second best mark at 7-7. We all correctly predicted the wins of Pittsburgh, the Los Angeles Chargers and New England. We all failed to pick Cincinnati or Tampa Bay, which won the game at Miami that got postponed by Hurricane Irma in Week 1.
