One thing easily overlooked in the 2016 Gehlke Bros. Football season thus far is that the 3-time defending champion has not exactly been dominating the picks. In fact, entering Week 13, the Senior Bro had won just two weeks — Week 3, when he gained two games to take the lead in the Surfy standings, and Week 5 when he widened his advantage to four games. Since then, it has been a battle of mostly inertia with the Junior Bro struggling to chip away at the deficit before a Week 11 breakthrough put him back on top.

But while Glenn's winning weeks have been lacking in frequency, the ones he's managed to put together have been impactful. His first such performance in eight weeks on Sunday saw him gain three games to retake the Surfy lead, stanching at least temporarily what had been a six-game skid.

Baltimore blew out a rejuvenated Miami, 38-6, in early action Sunday. It was the only one of Glenn's three victories that could be considered a laugher. In what turned out to be the tightest contest of the day, Kansas City took a page out of Denver's Week 10 playbook and blocked a 2-point conversion that should have given Atlanta a 3-point lead late in the game. Instead, the Chiefs ran the ball back for a defensive score that gave them a 29-28 win. Arizona helped the Senior Bro complete the sweep when it came out on top of a see-saw battle with Washington on Sunday afternoon, 31-23.

In the final bye week of the season, Glenn notched a brotherly best 11-4 mark to carve out a scant 1-game lead in the overall standings. Ben went 9-6 for second place, while Sean had to settle for third at 8-7. We all nailed the picks of New England, Denver, Oakland, Pittsburgh and Seattle. No one correctly picked Tampa Bay to win on the road.
