Big Bro builds his lead... whatever it is
With Week 9 results still missing in action, we continue to experience technical difficulties in updating the Gehlke Bros. Football season standings. But one thing we do know is that Glenn widened his advantage by two games over the Junior Bro in Week 13.
The Senior Bro capitalized on Jacksonville's 23-18 win over Houston and Arizona's decisive 30-17 victory over visiting Minnesota on Sunday night to sweep the week's only splits with Sean. Meanwhile, Ben played the contrarian and racked up as many as 10 splits with his uncle and eight with his dad. It the end, however, it all wound up a wash. Glenn and Ben tied for the week's best record at 11-5, while Sean finished at 9-7. Because of the Chaos Kid's against-the-grain picks, we found agreement on just five victors: Chicago, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Denver and San Diego. The only game that stumped all of us was Oakland's improbable road win over the reeling Steelers. |
