This season is starting to turn into a laugher no, we're not talking about the NawFuL, which has been a joke since Week 1 we're talking about the Bros' picks competition, which Sean is starting to turn on its ear. A six-game lead after weeks of being tied or close to it? It's a laugher all right, except the only Bro doing any laughing is the one who is trying to close in on his fourth consecutive Surfy trophy.
What the heck happened to bring us to this? Well, first there were the Thanksgiving turkeys, which we split. Sean got a win from New England while Glenn picked up a victory from Dallas. But things fell apart on Sunday when the Junior Bro took three out of four split games, getting help from the Ravens, Bills and Titans. Glenn's only bright spot was the Eagles' win against the Rams, which may have ended St. Louis' comeback hopes along with Kurt Warner's season.
Sean gets a big 11-5 tally to win the week. Ben and Glenn tied at 9-7. Ben continues to hold the unofficial lead at two games over Sean. It seems like everything in Bro-ville happens in twos these days that is the number of games Sean has gained each of the past three weeks.
We all correctly predicted the wins of Kansas City, Atlanta, Green Bay, Indianapolis, San Francisco and Oakland. None of us expected Carolina or San Diego to win (least of all Cleveland and Denver).
