After Glenn staged a big comeback in Week 5, Sean came close to pulling the same feat in Week 6. Had it not been for an upset victory by Cincinnati over Pittsburg and Atlanta's thrashing of the Giants in New York, we might not (OK, we wouldn't) be tied for a second straight week. Indianapolis and Seattle both proved they aren't ready for prime time (or any time in the Colts' case) by losing at home to the Bills and Broncos respectively.
There were quite a few surprises in Week 6, but by far the biggest one has to be Benji outpicking the Gehlke Bros. with a record of 8-5, while Glenn and Sean staggered their way to a 7-6 mark. Not only did Ben win the weekend, but he did it by picking against the Bros. for victories with the likes of New England, St. Louis and Tennessee. After doing an in-your-face victory dance in the kitchen upon learning the news, Ben exclaimed: "Are you ready for some football?!" Ah, a chip off the old block! Like the rest of the free world, we all missed Philadelphia's win over oh-and-six Washington.
NOTE: Because the NFL feels the need for Thursday night games, the Gehlke Bros. will pick the Thursday game separately from the rest of the weekend. The Thursday prediction will be posted by game time. The weekend games will be posted at their usual time Sunday.
