Has Sean at last found the groove? After a nine-week stretch of futility ended for the junior Bro last week, Sean made it two weeks in a row with gains in the Gehlke Bros. picks competition. Coming into Week 15, Sean boldly stated his new goal — finishing less than 10 games behind by season's end. He is making good on that promise, at least so far, by picking up the only split of the week, an overtime victory by Arizona over Philadelphia.
For the record, Glenn, Sean and Benji agreed on an incredible nine picks. Of those, we correctly guessed wins by Green Bay, Indianapolis, Minnesota, Washington, the Jets and the 49ers. We missed some biggies, however, including Kansas City's win over Dallas, Tennessee's victory at Jacksonville, and Denver's first loss of the year at the hands of the Giants. Guess the Broncos will never know 16-and-Oh. Sean won the week with a 10-5 mark, Glenn and Benji were 9-6.
NOTE: There are two Saturday games on the schedule in Week 16. Those picks will be posted Saturday, Dec. 19, while the remaining picks will be posted as normal on Sunday.
