Season update: Glenn leads by 9

Thanksgiving week is upon us and it is time for the senior Gehlke Bro to give thanks to the NFL and its fine stable of professional talent that has made possible a bountiful lead going into the waning weeks of the 1998 season. Glenn piled on another three splits in Week 12, thanks to Atlanta's comeback win over Chicago and the dismantling of Tennessee at the hands of the New York Jets. Monday night's come-from-behind victory by New England over Miami cemented Glenn's eighth consecutive week of gaining ground or not losing ground in the Gehlke Bros. competition.

For the week, Glenn set the pace with a blistering 11-4 record, while Sean and Benji went 8-7. We all called the wins of the 49ers, Steelers, Broncos, Cowboys and Giants (probably a first for so many teams), but we choked on losses by Cincinnati and Tampa Bay.

NOTE: With games scheduled Thanksgiving Day, picks for the first two games of Week 13 will be posted the morning of Nov. 26. All other picks will be posted as normal on Sunday.
