Season update: Glenn leads by 6

When the field goals are flying your way you've just gotta sail along with 'em, baby! For Glenn, who has not had a losing week since Week 4, the splits keep coming. Week 11 saw the senior Bro add another game to his burgeoning lead, thanks to some last-minute heroics by his standard-bearers on the gridiron.

San Diego got the better of Baltimore, Dallas polished off Arizona, and the mighty Raiders cheated defeat with a last-second field goal over the visiting Seahawks. That was a good thing for Glenn, because Buffalo handed New England its fifth straight loss while the Oilers (or is that the Titans?) swept their season series with the Steelers, giving two splits to Sean.

For the week, Glenn compiled an 11-4 record. Sean also did well at 10-5. Benji picked his way to a 2-13 week, and in doing so managed to defy both luck and the law of averages. He had a good excuse, though: Dad read him the names of the losing teams first when Benji made his picks. Says Benji: "I had a little problem with my football picks, but I think we can still do, 'In your face!'" Whatever.

We all called Green Bay's huge win over the Giants, but stumbled badly on the Jets' slim loss at Indianapolis and the 49ers' debacle at the hands of those "dirty bird" Falcons. All together now, can you say "NFC West Champion Atlanta Flacons"? I didn't think so.
